Liane Fried had been a world traveler and illustrator in New York City since 1976 until the early 90s when her husband moved her upstate. In restlessness she began to play with a different artforms where her whimsicality created beautiful animals and designs that eventually became her profession, Liane Fried Studio.
Liane Fried Studios has an abundance of bright and lovely products, from coffee cups to wall clocks, jewelry to memo boards; here is something absolutely wonderful for any room. I was given the opportunity to choose a product for my review and picked out “Beep Beep” Wall Clock, an original design hand-printed onto a glossy ceramic 8″ clock. I knew my son would love it from the moment he saw it.
My little guy is really into cars and trucks at the moment. In fact, my entire house is filled with cars and trucks and yesterday I got a hole in my foot stepping on a motorcycle. We’re inundated with vehicles!
He loves them though and gets so excited every time he sees a new one, which is what happened the day the “Beep, Beep” wall clock arrived. For over an hour he walked around with it everywhere. He would tell me, “be careful” because that’s what I told him when he snatched it from me. It is hand-made and quite delicate, but he loved it so much that I let him hold it. Eventually he was really excited to put it on his wall and of course he wanted it right above his bed.
It gives a soft tick, tick sound that he likes and he loves looking at it while sitting on his bed. He calls it his “Taxi Beep Beep Clock” and he’s so proud that he has a clock on his wall like we have in the living room.
The original clock I was looking at to review was the “Choo Choo” clock, but eventually decided on the taxi, still, I think it is adorable!
Plus you can get the “Choo Choo” in a Mini Magnet Clock in 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4, which can also be personalized with their name.
