Before Tot came into the world I didn’t really know anyone who had sensitive skin outside of my sister. Soap and other household items with perfumes and dyes didn’t concern me and I’d just pick up whatever happened to be cheapest at the time. Then my youngest was born and things became a lot clearer (literally) around the house. Although it would seem that switching items to clearer versions would be more work, it actually became less of a hassle and six years later we still use all free clear detergent.
I remember when they started coming out with Mighty Pacs. The liquid was nice because it had a higher concentration; so you used less soap, but the pacs were amazing time savers. Plus, on days when it is my Teen’s turn to do laundry I don’t have to repeat how much detergent to use for the millionth time. He could just toss in a Mighty Pac and be done with it. Seriously, teenagers are completely forgetful.
I don’t worry about much anymore in the way of my son’s skincare needs. When allergens seem to be bothering him at night, we wash his sheets and his favorite blue blanket. No matter the stains or how much dirt he could pick up pretending to be zoo animals, all free clear takes care of it. I’m #FreetoBe a bit more stress free these days, at least within the confides of the laundry room!
Honestly, all free clear does have a few additives. It comes with extra time for you, extra clean clothes and sheets and extra care for the skin we love most.
