American Apparel operates the largest garment factory in the United States. At a time when most garment production has been heading overseas, they have planted themselves in beautiful Los Angeles, CA. They have over 285 retail stores in over 20 countries, having recently opened up in China! They are now selling Made in USA clothing to the largest consumer market in the world!
I was given the opportunity to choose a few items I thought were perfect for the cold months ahead. My idea of the perfect sweater is warm, oversized and comfortable. The kind of sweater that I would steal from my husband and snuggle up in on a chilly day to read a book or watch my favorite show. Something I could wear lounging around my house, but dress up when I felt like leaving for coffee or a lunch date. Here are two of my favorites.
Both of the tops are made from 100% Cotton. They are beyond comfortable and extremely durable. I’ve washed them a few times and the color has never faded, no stitch has moved from its place and they have held up to a lot of toddler tugging! The California Fleece Sweatshirt I would live in everyday for the rest of my life if I could. It’s too bad that as a mom I am around a lot of messy little fingers.
With clothes for women, men and children, ranging from simple to chic and brought to life through an amazing beauty and accessories collection – American Apparel is the epitome of shops when it comes to a wide collection of comfort. The basics of simplicity in beauty seem stitched into the very fabric of their clothing.
