Judah has been watching BabyFirstTV since he was a few months old. I had stumbled across a free preview day and fell in love with the fact that it was commercial free educational programming specially designed for infants and children. Little did I know that by introducing Judah to BabyFirstTV that we would find ourselves having no other channel to watch during the day. He loves this channel, the lively fun characters, the music, the instructional and educational shows, crafts and even nighttime programming. Yes, they actually shut down their Channel at night and only play beautiful music with art for sleepy children to fall asleep to.
One of Judah’s favorite shows on BabyFirstTV now has it’s own App (for iPad/iPod/iPhone and Android!). VocabuLarry is a little cute and funny parent that learns new words by repeating them. Judah always liked shouting out the words with Larry and now we have a to-go phone App so we can play in the car, or while waiting in line somewhere or just at home for fun. Much like the show, Larry shouts out what the object is but he also gives kids a chance to figure it out for themselves. At the end of the flip book there is a picture with all the ‘Things That Go’ and kids can put their finger on them and Larry will shout them out. Judah loved this part!
There are lots of fun Apps for BabyFirstTV, but this one has lots of fun Things That Go, that of course my little boy loves. VocabuLarry is a colorful and fun character to play along with and he really helps kids memorize what they are learning through repetition. BabyFirstTV did an amazing job with this App and we were so lucky to have a chance to review it and tell you about VocabuLarry’s new fun “Things That Go” and their educational T.V. program.
You can connect with BabyFirstTV on Facebook, @BabyFirstTV on Twitter and/or follow/subscribe to their blog!
You can buy the VocabuLarry “Things That Go” App for $0.99 cents.
