~This post is made in partnership with Kohl’s. Opinions and stories are my own.~
School starts in one week for us. I can hardly believe that my little Tot is going to be hitting the Kindergarten hallways soon. I feel far from emotionally ready for this back-to-school year, so thankfully Kohl’s has made it a little easier for me to pick up mostly everything I need in one spot. This past weekend I took a deep breath, grabbed Tot’s back-to-school supplies list and headed out to my favorite store. The only obstacle I faced was keeping myself away from the women’s clearance.
I’m always amazed at what I find on school supply lists. This year all the kindergartners need headphones. I wasn’t exactly sure what they needed these for, but I was pretty excited to check out the iHome Headphones. They had Iron Man, The Hulk, Jack Skeleton, Minnie Mouse, Tinker Bell and of course the bright colorful choices. I really wanted to get him the Iron Man headphones, but the list said the supplies were for sharing so I went with red. The amazing thing is that they’re typically $29.99, but I got them on sale for under $20!
I was also able to pick up the typical supplies: crayons, folders, notebooks, markers, and scissors. The only thing I couldn’t find was JUMBO glue sticks (which are online) and items like Lysol wipes. Kohl’s has a 15% OFF deal currently that you can get via the Kohl’s App or online (it’s printable) that helped me get all the supplies for roughly $30 (yes that includes the headphones!). AND if you have the App, you’ll also see a $10 OFF Kid’s Apparel when you spend $30. This is definitely the week to get out shopping!
Speaking of kid’s clothing, the Jumping Beans line always has sales and guess who picked up every vehicle related shirt available? Yep, that would be this super awesome mom right here! The Jumping Beans Mix & Match Coordinates are my favorite. They were a little too hot for Tot to try on right now since all the tops I purchased are long sleeve, so until then he’s still sporting his Disney Jumping Beans Fire & Rescue sets.
For all you Moms out there with Frozen fans, Disney Jumping Beans just set out all their best Frozen styles! And while in my wanderings I found Frozen bed sheets, Frozen pillows and even a stuffed Olaf! None of which is really back-to-school, but with the savings and Kohl’s cash you could really make a princess feel special.
Tot is back-to-school ready from head to toe. He is supply ready and style savvy for his first year of Elementary and I did it all in one go. Well, except all those boxes of tissues and sanitizing wipes. I may be concerned all day about him being at a new school and how children will treat him, but at least I won’t have to worry about him not having the things he needs thanks to Kohl’s.
