There are many reasons for a woman to wait to have a child; college, career or just having fun before settling down. At some point a woman becomes overwhelmed with wanting to become pregnant. Wanting that child so bad, being married and wanting to have a family addition, watching her friends have babies or just knowing that it is time for her. Not being able to conceive when you plan for it to can be one of the most devastating things to happen to a woman. I just want you to realize that you are not alone! This is more common than you may think and there are options out there for you so you can persue your dream of having a child.
Visit Birds & Bees: The Real Story they have a music video “Early Bird gets the Sperm”. This is a educational video that is funny and entertaining but also informing you of the issues that a lot of women experience while trying to conceive and how that may feel. She sings in the video about her desire to have a child; how she wants to stay up all night, she wants the stroller, she wants the dirty diapers and the throw up on her. It also talks about it on the husband’s side of conceiving too; of how it affects him and he is willing to do what ever she asks but now it’s time to seek help. Just an all around adorable video, the husband is the Bee and the wife is the Bird. It is not only informative about this subject, but set in a lighthearted way. I encourage you to definitely watch this video.
