~I received Revell The Force Awakens’ Vehicles for the purpose of reviewing. Opinions and stories are my own.~
Just in time for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and holiday shopping season these fun lights-and-sound scale model kits from Revell take kids 6 and up to a galaxy far, far away! I have been a Star Wars obsessed fan since I was about 6 years old when my dad showed me all the original films. I have since shown my oldest daughter all the films (in release order I might add) and she now is a big fan herself. That means now I get to find the best Star Wars toys for her to play with! These models from Revell are not only fun to put together but are really great toys for hours of play!
Replicas of the new movie’s Millennium Falcon, Poe’s X-Wing Fighter, Resistance X-Wing Fighter and First Order Special Forces Tie Fighter snap together in less than 30 minutes (kid assembly time) and then keep kids engaged for hours with moving parts like retractable landing gear, open/close cockpit hatches, wings that open into attack mode, and lights and sounds simulating battle action.
Each SnapTite Build & Play model kit has 15 to 20 pre-decorated parts, requires no glue, paint or tools and includes batteries. These have Revell’s new DuraMod snap design which provides extra durability, easy handling and detailed vehicle facsimiles that let kids’ imaginations fly. These are most definitely my kind of toy models!
The The Force Awakens’ Vehicles from SnapTite Build & Play are only $19.99 each and sold at Target and Toys R Us stores. At this price these not only make FABULOUS gifts but you can collect them all! Five additional Star Wars kits will be released soon for ages 8 and up and after that a Master Series consisting of three classic Star Wars paint and glue kits from Fine Molds for the more serious model fans. Building and playing with these kits are almost as much fun as watching the movies!
