~I received a week of soccer camp in exchange for this post. Opinions and stories are my own.~
I posted way back in February about the British Soccer Camp that I signed Big Sis up for and after all that waiting this was the week she got to attend. My 6 year old daughter absolutely LOVED this day camp!
For her session it was an intense 3 hour (9-noon) half day that really focused on teaching her new skills and practicing them. She has been playing in rec leagues for soccer since she was 3 so she was already in love with the sport. Every day that I picked her up she had a huge grin on her face and she would go into detail about all the stuff she learned. Her session had three coaches all the way from across the pond….adorable accents included. The first half of the day they were split up into 3 groups based off ages and worked on practicing skills and confidence. At the end of the day they split off into their world cup teams (composed of different ages and abilities but evened out in 6 teams) to play quick scrimmages. Her team for the week was Spain and they wore red all week.
With an innovative curriculum that develops skills, speed and confidence in players ages 3-18, British Soccer Camps provide boys and girls with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international expert’s right in the heart of their own community. In addition to teaching new skills and improving game performance, each British Soccer Camp provides lessons in character development, cultural education and is the most fun your child can have learning the sport they love!

Each kid gets a shirt and soccer ball included in camp. My daughter had all her coaches sign them on the last day because she loved it all so much. She thoroughly enjoyed the whole week telling me that it was “awesome and so much fun but a ton of work too.” This was the perfect way for her to get up and go this summer. She can’t wait to do it again next year!
