~I received a beautiful little charm from Chamilia by Swarovski Group to facilitate this review. Opinions and stories are my own.~
Tiny little charms have been flooding my mind for weeks. I’ve been making a list of all the charms that would represent different important moments in my life so that I can one day finish my story bracelet. I have this idea that I will one day pass it on through my children to their children; a way to be remembered. One of the charms I collected recently was from Chamilia by Swarovski Group. I don’t think I need to explain who Swarovski is as their crystals have taken over the world! Chamilia is their unique charm line.
Each of their charms are made of .925 sterling silver or 14 karat gold and feature genuine Swarovski Crystals or Zirconia, or Italian Murano Glass. I was sent their 2015 Limited Edition Shoot for the Moon charm that’s shaped like a tiny rocket! It has beautiful clear and red Swarovski crystals and with blue enamel on sterling silver.
I love this tiny little charm that represents childhood and the nostalgia of summer days in July. It came in an adorable little green box on a soft cloth bed. Although I wanted to add it to my collection, I thought it would be pretty special for my Mother’s since her wedding Anniversary is the 4th of July and kept it in its box as a gift. Ssshh, don’t tell her!
I also thought about getting us both the new My Daughter, My Friend and My Mother, My Friend charms to connect us together. We have a special love of Swarovski since my wedding when she had handmade my bouquet (and all the flowers/lapels) with hundreds of Swarovski crystals. Since these feature clear crystal and lavender (or blue) enamel accents, it is fitting.
It’s also a great place to start a bracelet for yourself or a gift for your Mom. You just begin by Designing Your Own with your bracelet choice and then add your first beads and locks. If you are worried about starting from scratch, you do have the option to customize one that is already preset by switching out the bead designs.
Although I love the idea of a finished bracelet, there is something about it still having room for pieces of my life that makes me happy. I think of all the moments to come and what new designs might be around the corner and that is exciting! The little rocket that arrived in my mailbox may not have made it to the moon, but it did make it to my heart and Chamilia sure has a way of making it sparkle.
