Last week Judah wrote his letter to Santa asking for an Elf to come play. That’s when Edda arrived! They’ve had a lot of fun together making pies, going fishing and playing with trucks. The nice thing about having a magic elf is that you can hug them and squeeze them to bits and the magic doesn’t wear off!
One of his most favorite things to do every night before bed is to set out crackers and water for Edda. Elves like crackers because they crunch like snow and water because it’s melted snow. After making sure she has a nighttime snack, we sprinkle her with North Pole Snowflakes and tuck her in. We all know that Santa doesn’t come until after the kids are asleep, the same goes for waking Elves and every night Edda gets up to a new Elfcapade!
I think the best part is hearing him say every night, “In the morning I can see what my Elf is gonna do!” It’s the first thing he looks for, bouncing around the house and clapping when he sees her. It’s been so much fun seeing him full of Christmas magic every day.
Since we loved Edda so much, Judah asked Santa for a Magical Reindeer to come play too. I’ll let you know when he arrives! Thanks to everyone who put in extra wishes for him to get his little friend. <3
