Most people when they think of Branson, think of live entertainment. There is no better place to go for this than Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede! It is a great show and awesome 4 course meal! This really is fun for all ages! My son was only 6 weeks old so he slept the whole time, but I know if we went back now he’d love it! They have stunning special effects, great music, and thrilling live horse stunts! It is definitely an experience!
Next place you need to go is Silver Dollar City, it is Mid America’s Largest Theme Park! It is an 1880’s style theme park with live shows, unique shops, home-style restaurants and over 100 craftsmen demonstrating different arts such as glass blowing and wood carving. They also have over 30 rides and attractions. They have the thrilling roller coasters for the daring souls, water rides for those wanting to cool off, and family rides for those out for a relaxing time. They also have 6 world class festivals thru out the year including Blue Grass and BBQ and Old Time Christmas. It really is fun for everyone!

Next you must go on the Ride the Duck Tour! The Ducks are crafted from the WWII DUKW. It drives on land, splashes in water, and floats like a boat. The whole experience is educational and fun. You learn about the history of Branson but in a fun, exciting way. The captains on the ride are fun and energetic. Every rider gets a Duck quacker to use on the ride and take home! Mom’s love them! Haha!
A MUST SEE is the Titanic Museum. Where else can you experience what it was like to walk the hallways, parlors, cabins of the Titanic? With more than 400 artifacts from the actual ship and its passengers, it is amazing to see! You can touch a real iceberg, walk the Grand Staircase, and try to stand on the sloping decks. Who can forget reaching your hand into 28 degree water, see how long you can stand it! Each visitor is given a boarding pass with a real passengers name from the Titanic as you go thru the museum you will learn the fate of your passenger as well as a little background on their life before stepping aboard the fateful ship.
If all of this isn’t enough for you, there is lots of shopping along the strip, as well as mini golf and yummy places to eat! There is so much more to do there than just what I have listed, we only went for the weekend though! Table Rock Lake is a short drive, you can fish, boat and do other water activities. Branson also has caves and caverns as well as horseback riding and so much more! There really is something for everyone!
