I recently got to review Fit Moms for Life- How to have endless energy to outplay your kids. I’m thinking Manda decided to let me do this review because she knows how crazy my kids are and how they never run out of energy and she knows I never have energy! Just the thought of doing my daily activities and then working out exhausted me! I was interested to see if this book would work for me!

There are alot of really great things about this book. There are so many tips for women to take better care of themselves. Being a mom, I know that too often we forget to take care of ourselves! This book is great because it gives us the tools to take care of ourselves and in the process take better care of our kids. This book also includes success stories from real women likes us!

After reading this book, I really learned that cardio is overrated. I know most of us think that to lose weight you need to do lots of cardio. I know most of the time when I would go to the gym (before I had kids!) I would always see the women on the treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and rarely using the weights. After reading this book I’ve learned that you really need to be doing the weight training to lose the most weight and get the best results. I would never have thought that. Makes sense though!
This book also taught me some great things about what foods to avoid and the benefits of keeping a food journal. The more aware you are of what you are eating you can break down the fats, carbs and proteins and plan a balanced diet.
I really loved that this book included recipes too! After all once you get in shape you need to STAY in shape and these great recipes will definitely help!
In the back of the book is a journal so you can keep track of things like your food journal, goals, body measurements and more!
Fit Moms for Life is definitely a great book for any woman! The tips it provides are great and will help you feel like a new person! It really is important to remember to take care of yourself too and then it will be easier to take care of the ones you love!
