Warner Bros Mother's Day Movies

A little secret known only to us Moms is that on Mother’s Day we really don’t want to do anything. The ideal Mother’s Day is really more like a mini stay-cation. The world may want to parade us in flowers, brunches and jewelry, but what we really, secretly want, is to lay on the couch in a quiet (clean) house and watch movies with a tub of popcorn (and ice-cream); or so I imagine.

So, I’m happy to present to you the Mommy’s Day Movie Picks from Warner Bros!

The Bodyguard

The Bodyguard stars Whitney Houston as a pop-music diva and Kevin Costner as the ultra-serious bodyguard assigned to protect her in the aftermath of several death threats. Initially repelled by each other like water and oil, a passion ignites between them as teh danger increases, transforming them as everythign around them explodes.

Don Juan

A psychiatrist must cure a young patient that presents himself as Don Juan, the greatest lover in the world. Clad in a cape and domino mask, DeMarco undergoes psychiatric treatment with Marlon Brando’s character, Dr. Jack Mickler, to cure him of his apparent delusion. But the psychiatric sessions have an unexpected effect on the psychiatric staff, some of whom find themselves inspired by DeMarco’s delusion; the most profoundly affected is Dr. Mickler himself, who rekindles the romance in his complacent marriage.

Joyful Noise

Joyful Noise tells the story of an unlikely partnership between two strong-minded women who are forced to work together to save a small town Gospel Choir after budget cuts threaten to shut them down. Music is a very important component to the story.

New Years Eve

Director/producer Garry Marshall brings together an stellar ensemble cast to celebrate love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts, in intertwining stories told amidst the pulse and promise of New York City on the most dazzling night of the year.

Wonderful Moms deserve great movies about being a little crazy, about passion, music and second chances.  You can spend the whole day being pampered like the special Mom you are and then when it’s quiet (even if you have a sink of dirty dishes) you can pop some popcorn, snuggle up with a comfortable blanket and have  some Mommy Movie Time. You deserve it.

Connect: You can connect to Warner Bros on their Facebook Page and/or @WBPictures on Twitter.

Purchase: You can purchase all of the movies on Amazon!
