Hello inRandom! My name is Farrah and I am a very, very lucky lady. I am fortunate because I am friends with Amanda and am going to visit the Green Giant Valley in her place. I write with Amanda over at Outnumbered 3 to 1, and she knows what a sheltered life I live (I have three boys under the age of 2.5) and that I haven’t had a moment’s peace in who knows how long…..So- she’s letting me go on this fabulous farm visit to report back to you all what I have learned in her place.
Personally- I am very curious about how they grow/process/package their food. Like many of you I’m sure, I am not only feeding myself in my household. I feed my husband, my toddler, and my 10 month old twins too. My toddler seems to really like veggies- and the twins are just kind of getting started so I plan on finding out the advantages to their produce vs. organic and fresh items in the grocery store. I am also very curious as to what their farm looks like- their volume numbers, who works there, etc.
Do any of you have some questions? I’d be thrilled to have some more questions to ask if you can help me…just post a comment here and I will be sure to check back. I leave early Tuesday morning, but won’t be heading out to the farm until Wednesday- so let me know. I greatly appreciate it, and look forward sharing what I have learned with all of you!
