DIY Coffee Creamer – How to Make Flavored Powered Coffee Creamer

So, we meet again coffee connoisseurs!. Genuine coffee lovers usually have a preference that they stick to when it comes to creaming their coffee. It’s the age old non-dairy powdered creamer vs. liquid creamer vs. cream debate. Personally, if I could afford it in both my checking account and waste line, I would use half and half in all my coffee. But I don’t drink coffee by the cup, I drink it by the pot and I don’t plan on changing that, so I use powdered creamer.

DIY Flavored Coffee Creamers

However, I like to mix it up by flavoring it at home. It can be much more affordable than buying flavored creamer, because you can pick up a store brand ‘bulk size’ powder creamer, then make a variety of flavors for yourself. You can also make a lot more flavors than what are available to you at the grocery store.

Here are some recipes to get you started:

Bavarian Mint Coffee Creamer

BAVARIAN MINT COFFEE CREAMER
3/4 c. non-dairy coffee creamer
1/2 c. Dutch process cocoa
3/4 c. confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract

Place ingredients in a bowl and whisk together or place in a food/blender processor and whirl until blended well.  Store in airtight container and use as normal coffee creamer.

Amaretto Coffee Creamer

AMARETTO COFFEE CREAMER
3/4 c. non-dairy coffee creamer
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 c. confectioners sugar

Place ingredients in a bowl and whisk together or place in a food/blender processor and whirl until blended well.  Store in airtight container and use as normal coffee creamer.

Vanilla Coffee Creamer

VANILLA COFFEE CREAMER
3/4 cup non-dairy coffee creamer
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon real vanilla extract

Place ingredients in a bowl and whisk together or place in a food/blender processor. Store in a cool dry place, and use as normal coffee creamer.

Toffee Coffee Creamer

TOFFEE COFFEE CREAMER

1 cup non-dairy coffee creamer
1 cup packed brown sugar

Place ingredients in a bowl and whisk together or place in a food/blender processor and whirl until blended well. Store in a air tight container Note: Can add more brown sugar to your taste,if needed.  Use as normal coffee creamer.

Snickerdoodle Coffee Creamer

SNICKERDOODLE COFFEE CREAMER

3/4 cup coffee creamer or 3/4 cup dry milk
3/4 cup sugar substitute
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon cream of tartar

Place ingredients in a bowl and whisk together or place in a food/blender processor and whirl until blended well. Store in airtight container and use as normal coffee creamer.

Irish Coffee Creamer

IRISH COFFEE CREAMER

3/4 cup non-dairy coffee creamer
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cocoa
3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar

Place ingredients in a bowl and whisk together or place in a food/blender processor. Store in a cool dry place, and use as normal coffee creamer.

Cafe Vienna Coffee Creamer

CAFE VIENNA FLAVORED COFFEE CREAMER
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup dry milk or 3/4 cup non-dairy coffee creamer
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Place ingredients in a bowl and whisk together or place in a food/blender processor and whirl until blended well. Store in a air tight container Use as normal coffee creamer.
