~I received an iBolt for the purpose of reviewing. Opinions and stories are my own.~
I have a love/hate relationship with driving. I enjoy driving to places I know well or are relatively easy, but when it comes to driving to areas I don’t know I sometimes get overwhelmed. I’ve even had anxiety attacks while driving when the stress of trying to arrive at an unknown location, being lost and needing to be there at a specific time was too much. So I get a little bit of help from this amazing tool I was introduced to over the summer, the iBolt sPro2.
The iBolt sPro2 is designed to be compatible with mostly all Smartphones, from the iPhone 4 to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3; with case compatibility. There is also snaps on the back end for charging cables and (or many phones) design allows for the camera area to be open for video capture while driving.
It’s also nice that it has a 360′ rotational dock so that you can move it from horizontal to vertical, depending on what is easier to follow. It’s extremely simple to put together and the Rok II suction Mount is incredibly strong. It would take a lot of force to try and pull it off the windshield!
The best part of the sPro2 has nothing to do with the hardware. Included for Android phones is the NFC tag that automatically connects the phone to Dock & Drive, an app free to download on Google Play. This creates large shortcut buttons, access to any music player and a speedometer/compass right on the home screen.
Dock & Drive also has the ItCanWait feature that pauses incoming SMS messaging. That alone is priceless when it comes to the safety of your family and others while driving.
I’m always amazed at how the simple things always turn out to be the most necessary for me. This is a wonderful product for every day use, family travel and especially for new drivers!
