Want Santa by the Christmas tree? Coming down the chimney? Eating milk and cookies? Sleeping on the sofa? Stealing a kiss from Mommy? Anyone can bring back the wonder of Christmas and be a hero to children by catching Santa “in the act.”
This Christmas is extra exciting in our house this year. My son is 4 and is really getting into the “Santa” spirit. My daughter is 18 months so she is getting excited about all the lights and presents! I got to check out a neat site called iCaughtSanta.com. This is a great site for any Santa believer. You get to pretend that you caught Santa in your house!
iCaughtSanta.com is a fun site and very easy to use! Start by taking a picture of your house. You can take a picture of your tree, the fireplace, living room, or anywhere you want. Next you upload it to iCaughtSanta.com. Browse thru the Santa’s, there is about 20 to choose from. Santa is in many different poses, you can have him laying down, crawling under the tree, standing up, emptying his bag, and more! You can move Santa around to fit him where you want him. You can also change the colors to make him blend in right. You can also add a pretty border as well.
I chose to use a picture of Santa reaching up. I loaded a picture of our Christmas tree and positioned Santa to look like he is putting an ornament back on the tree. I added a pretty green border with little Christmas trees on it as well. The whole process took less than 5 minutes and then you print it yourself! How great is that! No waiting on it to arrive.
I showed the picture to my son and he just couldn’t believe that Santa was in our house! He took it out of my hands and ran off to show daddy! We looked over the picture and he was pointing things out and looking back over to the tree and just kept saying “look there’s our….” and pointing out various things. We decided that Santa must have come either last night while we were gone at grandma’s all night or while we were at the doctor today. He did tell me though that “he may have come earlier because he thought he heard a sound.” He was pretty excited about the whole thing though and said we have to show grandma! We figured out that Santa was probably coming over to see if we had enough room for all the toys Santa’s gonna bring soon and he probably saw all the ornaments the cat knocks off and decided to pick them back up.
iCaughtSanta.com is a fun addition to Christmas traditions. The options are endless! You can have Santa giving your kids a kiss while they are sleeping, stopping to eat your cookies, kissing mommy, unloading his bag, and so much more! Remember your little one this Christmas and keep the magic alive with iCaugthSanta.com
