Judah Singing His Lullaby

A few years ago I made up a lullaby for Judah, just a little bitty thing that I sing to him when he goes to sleep. It used to be a part of our ‘routine’ but now has just become something he loves to hear. This is him singing it.. well most of it. The lullaby goes:

Mommy loves you.
Daddy loves you.
And we hope that you had fun today.
Playing outside,
Playing with toys,
Listening to the sounds of the day.
But now,
It’s time to rest your head love.
Now it’s time to rest your head love.

Mommy loves you.
Daddy loves you.
And we hope that you had fun today.
Now it’s time to,
Close your eyes and
Dream real tight of another day of fun.
It’s time to rest your head love.
Now it’s time to rest your head.

He puts in “Big Brother Cody Loves You” as well and you’ll hear him end with “Now it’s time to rest your box..” because he likes to make up his own words and laugh… this is one of them that he liked to insert because it was so funny at the time. Regardless, it’s adorable and I love him so much.

I do not mind if people want to sing the lullaby to their children, however, it is copywrited and I am fiercely protective of the songs I write for my sons.
