Back in October, we remodeled our girls/guest bathroom, but like any project of mine, it isn’t technically finished. I wanted to keep the bathroom nice enough to welcome guests, but still have a bit of fun since it will be mainly used by my little girls. We decided to accessorize with purple butterflies, which would complement a set of pictures (seen above) I already owned. Of course, finding purple butterflies that I like has proven a bit challenging. Fortunately, I was given the opportunity to review an item from Kidorable and they had the perfect product for the bathroom!
Kidorable delights both children and the adults who love them by transforming everyday, functional kids accessories into objects that excite their imaginations and enrich their lives at play.
From rainwear to backpacks to knitwear and towels, Kidorable speaks to the precious spirit of childhood.
Kidorable sent us a medium Butterfly Towel, which happens to be purple, for review. The hooded towel is a perfect addition that adds the cute, fun vibe I wanted in our calm, serene space.
The Kidorable towels come in two sizes; small (0-2 years) and medium (3-6 years). I was actually surprised at the size of the wingspan on this butterfly and couldn’t get a good picture of all the amazing details. You can see below from their photo that the towel has lots of fun accents and is even shaped like a butterfly. The towel is soft and absorbent, made from 100% cotton and adorable. The company is diligent about meeting all safety standards and makes sure the products are regularly tested for lead, phthalates, and other toxic substances, so you can remain worry-free.
When I first saw my daughter in this hooded towel, she reminded me of the jawas in Star Wars…except a cute butterfly version. Since we went with the medium sized towel, it is still too big for my daughter, but we had lots of laughs as she was literally enclosed in the towel. I haven’t let my daughter “play” with the towel, since it is a touch long, but I can imagine that I will see my daughter fluttering around with the towel on in the near future. I love how they tied in the colors from the back of the butterfly to the trim of the hood. Plus the hood, complete with eyes and antennas, is so stinkin’ cute.
We have been mainly using the towel for bath time, but these towels are perfect to take to the pool, beach, or waterpark. The towel is thicker than other hooded towels we own, which makes it feel cozy and warm for our little ones after taking them out of the water. Even if the towel gets a bit worn looking in the future, it would still make a great cape for imaginative play.
Some other features I like about the Kidorable butterfly towel is the
- convenient hook for hanging
- snap in the front
Kidorable carries many other items from backpacks and raingear to bookends and hanger sets for both boys & girls. I’m definitely going to need a small butterfly towel so our daughters can have matching towels. Whenever I move out of the desert…hopefully soon, I would love to get some of the unique rain boots or the cute rain gear below from the ladybug collection.
These transportation hangers would be fun if we have a boy in the future!
Another neat thing Kidorable does is their Birthday Club. If you sign your child up, they will send you a free gift, plus a special offer only available to Kidorable Birthday Club members, thirty days before your child’s birthday.
Kidorable has really added some spunk to their product line and I can’t wait to see what designs they will come out with next. I would love if they would expand the butterfly collection to include a bathroom rug…seriously, I need one. If not, I will be waiting anxiously for some more sun hats, since it is already sunny here in So Cal.
