With the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics starting tonight I thought these Olympic Torch Cupcakes I found online would be perfect! Unfortunately I couldn’t find the original site when I went to make them so I just kind of had to go by memory.
- Cake Mix
- Yellow Food Coloring
- Red Fruit by the Foot
- Ice Cream Cones
- Prepare cupcake batter according to package. Fill ice cream cones 2/3rd’s full. Place the cones in the cupcake pans. Carefully place in the oven and bake according to the package.
- Let cupcakes cool before icing. Add yellow food coloring to white icing.
Take a plastic lunch baggie and cut a small hole in the corner, place a cake tip in the hole and fill bag with yellow icing.
- Apply yellow icing in an upwards motion so the icing stands up.
- Add a small piece of fruit by the foot in the shape of a diamond to the top of the cone.
