In the transition of your photos from Kodak Gallery to Shutterfly, all of your personal photos will be moved to the Shutterfly website. Unfortunately, none of your projects (Photo Books, Calendars, etc.) or Group Albums will be moved—you will need to complete and purchase any projects (also consider re-purchasing previous projects as backup) before noon, PST on July 2, 2012. As for your shared albums, Group Albums, and Sharing Sites, we are still evaluating whether they will be accessible on Shutterfly after Kodak Gallery closes. We will post an update once we have more definite information on this subject. We thank you for your patience as we move your photos, and we will ensure that every single image is transitioned safely and securely.
- Please note: only the photos that you uploaded will be moved.
- Your projects, such as photo books and calendars, site credits, gift certificate balances, video slideshows, and other stored information will not be moved to Shutterfly.
- Photos that you uploaded in both Individual and Group Albums will automatically move to Shutterfly. However, Friends’ Albums will not move to Shutterfly.
So make sure to go through your Kodak Gallery account prior to June 2nd. Afterward, Shutterfly will keep you updated in regards to your photos if you had received the previous emails of the merger. You should have received them if you have an email account with Kodak Gallery. If you haven’t, update your email as soon as possible.
