~I received a Learn to Write Chalkboard for review. Opinions and stories are my own.~
I love finding new ways to educate my son through play. I’ve always found that the more fun you make learning to little ones, the more they want to know! The two most important educational tools we have are reading and writing, but they’re also sometimes the most difficult to get our kids to work on. Although I’ve found lots of different ways to engage my son in reading, there weren’t many things I had at my disposal for making writing fun. Then I stumbled across the Learn to Write Chalkboard Decal after being offered the opportunity to work with WallPops and a light went off!
The Learn to Write Chalkboard is a twist on the classic writing tool with dotted lines to help children learn their letters. Each pack contains 4 9.75″ x 17.25″ chalkboard decals and chalk. The decals can be re-positioned and removed as well, in case you want to take them to a different area.
One way that I made the decals really fun was by incorporating them into my son’s room theme. I decided to use them as the road and placed his truck decor on top of it. You can do the same thing by picking up the Construction Zone decals with the chalkboard! They also have many other decals to help make your Learn to Write Chalkboard appealing. Think outside the box!
We work on writing a little every other day with various ideas. It’s not so much about what we are writing than the concepts of staying within the lines and how lower/upper case letters are different. He loves writing his name though!
This is one of my favorite back-to-school items this year for how useful and fun it is for children. The other product from WallPops I think would be a great addition for parents for back-to-school is the Black Dry Erase Calendar! The best part is that they’re having a Back to School 20% OFF Sale!
If you are looking for a chalkboard style decals for other rooms in the house, or just fun modern pop art, make sure to check out WallPops! You can also get ideas by visiting their Facebook Page and/or @WallPopsWallArt on Twitter.
