It’s right after the new year and our Listerine Oral Care Challenge is going very well! Aside from my teen spending the Holidays away from home we’ve kept up with our daily routine. Sometimes it’s easy to get Judah interested in brushing his teeth during the morning and other times it’s pretty difficult. He still associates it with a bedtime routine. Here we were having a discussion about the routine.
So far I can see a definite improvement in myself and Cody (before he left) with adding Flossing to our routine and my teen is more apt to remember to do it with the Floss Pick than just the regular Floss. He said it was easier to hold a Floss Pick like a toothbrush than to try and hold to small pieces of string.
The Listerine Smart Rinse has been my biggest helper with my teen. It’s called Smart Rinse because it will cause any leftover particles to show up in the sink and it also tastes good. It does the job of looking over my sons teeth every night a little easier, like a little assistant making sure everything was thorough.
Every night my husband, my tot and I do our little routine. It begins with asking Judah if he’s ready and then we all parade into the bathroom. Judah steps up on his stool and we each get our toothbrushes, get a little water, get a little toothpaste and then we name off all the things important for brushing teeth (sink, water, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc) and we also giggle at each other in the mirror. My tot likes to go through all the people he knows that brushes their teeth and end with ‘Everybody brushes their teeth.” He feels so big and proud of himself. It’s been a lot of fun having this every night for us.
Do you have a day or night-time routine for your family’s Oral Care? Or are you planning to start one?
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Listerine and received a sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
