~I received samples from Mabel’s Labels for the purpose of reviewing. Opinions and stories are my own.~
I have always loved back-to-school season. From my own elementary school days to those first days at college. Now my excitement is for my daughters. This year it feels like I have spent a small fortune on supplies and clothes for my oldest who is about to start kindergarten. Her charter school requires specific uniforms, supplies and jackets and they are not cheap! After spending all that money building her a new school wardrobe from scratch the next important step is labeling it all so that her stuff will not be confused with all the other kid’s stuff, especially since it all looks exactly a like. The best way to do that is with Mabel’s Labels and their variety of high quality labels that not only stay on the items but they are are really cute!
Their popular Ultimate Back to School Combo has everything you need to get your child’s stuff labeled and therefore more likely for it all to make it back home. With this set you can choose from 4 limited edition solid palettes or 40+ multi-coloured designs, plus 3 special back-to-school motifs (bus, books and apple). It comes with 40 Skinny-Minis, 50 Tag Mates, 16 Shoe Labels and 2 Teeny Tags.
What makes these labels so great is what the labels are good for. The skinny-minis are dishwasher and microwave safe so I place these on lunchboxes, ice packs, re-usable food containers, water bottles and such like that. The tag mates are washer and dryer safe so I use these for her shirts, skorts, belts, backpacks, jackets and basically any type of clothing. The shoe labels are obviously good for shoes. Remember now that 16 shoes labels seem like a lot but that is for 8 pairs of shoes and I know my daughter will go through several by the end of the year since her feet are constantly growing. I like to use the teeny tags on the zippers of her backpack and lunchbox and they are waterproof and UV resistant.
With a satisfaction guarantee there is no reason not to try these awesome labels. I have used them in the dishwasher and the washing machine and the labels still look like new. For those of you with older kids they have a Stylish Scholars Combo with colors and designs that are more to the liking of teens. That set would be great for calculators, smart phones and expensive things you really don’t want to have to replace if they get lost. These fun and durable labels really are great for everything that needs to be labeled for back-to-school. Their line of products is every expanding as they also have stationary, ID wristbands and labels for household items as well. Now that everything is labeled I am officially ready for the first day of school.
