I had the most wonderful opportunity to review elf everyday cosmetics (eyes lips face) products. In fact, I got to do a whole shopping trip! You should take the time to read the Google + Story and see which products I purchased to know what is being used in my Makeup Routine video.
It was the best shopping trip I’ve ever made to Walmart. For the first time since I was 13 years old I was able to go out and get an entire kit’s worth of Makeup for under $30!
I came home with the bag and you’d have thought it was Christmas. My husband at first thought I went over there and went completely crazy, spending tons of money. He couldn’t believe that it was all under $30 until I showed him the receipt!
I had to wait until later to have fun with it. It was nice removing all the old makeup I’ve been using and freshen up with E.L.F. products, most of which have aloe and vitamins.
Makeup used in this routine is:
- Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths
- Shine Eraser
- Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 in Nude (with Aloe, Cucumber and Vitamins A, C & E)
- Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter (Medium / Glow)
- Concealer (Ivory)
- Translucent Matifying Powder
- Eyelid Primer
- Waterproof Eyeliner Pen (Coffee)
- Elements Compact (Pink Ice, Wisteria)
- Brightening Eye Color (Teal Dream)
- Matte Lip Color (Praline)
- Total Face Face Brush
- Professional Foundation Brush
I am so in love with elf cosmetics. The products are very affordable, many of the ‘face’ products have SPF 20 (which is very important). The variety in styles, colors and applicators is perfect. If you can’t find something you want at the store, you can always find a whole array of elf cosmetics at eyeslipsface.com, which not only has the products but tools and accessible style assistance. They even have a Beauty School!
My most favorite thing of all is their eye makeup. This photo was taken right after the video without any enhancements. You can see how well the Concealer and the Under Eye Concealer / Highlighter works. This close up you can also see that the makeup isn’t cake-y or powder-y. It has a very natural feel and glow.
Although I have a more natural look, there are elf cosmetic styles and accessories to do shadows or more colorful tones to your face. No matter what you decide to play with though, this makeup is absolutely for the everyday woman.
