I have written multiple times about my gratitude towards BGCA (Boys & Girls Club of America). When my son first started school in a new city, they were there for us. They were very much like a second family, not only offering the companionship of friends for my son but education and helping hands. I have the utmost respect for their program and gratefulness from the bottom of my heart. I hope you take the time to see what they are about and how they offer better futures for the children involved!
More than 4,000 Boys & Girls Clubs opened their doors to serve millions of kids across the nation and on military installations overseas by offering a place for them to grow and have a great future. National Boys & Girls Club Week was established to celebrate the invaluable service that Clubs bring to communities and to highlight why great futures start at Boys & Girls Clubs. Clubs provide caring guidance and fun, engaging programs that help kids: do well in school, give back to their communities and choose healthy lifestyles.
Thousands of Clubs across the country will be holding Boys & Girls Club Week celebrations – including opportunities to hear from kids and other stakeholders about the ways that Clubs transform young lives.
We are encouraging local communities to go out and visit their local Boys & Girls Clubs! You can see how wonderful their programs are, what they offer children and the benefit this has on their future. If you can’t make it to a local club by 4/13, you can take the Virtual Tour! You can also help take part and show your support by visiting National Boys & Girls Club and checking out the information online!

I am a little late in the week to share with you all the great things that have passed, however there is still time to go out and show your support, take the Virtual Tour and read the stories. If you would like to talk to members of a local Boys & Girls Club, there is a “Find a Club” option as well!
Have you or your children ever attended Boys & Girls Club?
I wrote this review while participating in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. I received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
