What You Need:
2 Cans of Sweetened Condensed Milk (about 27 fl oz in all)
9oz (250g) of Chocolate Cookies, of the digestive or Granola variety
7/8 Stick Butter, softened
8oz (250g) Whipping Cream
Chocolate powder for the decoration
Cook the sweetened condensed milk by placing the two cans in a large saucepan of water without opening them and boiling for 1 hour. Be sure to keep an eye on the water level – if the can gets too much direct heat, the can could explode. Mix the cookies and blend them with the butter. Spread this mixture into a round mold approximately 7 inches (18cm) in diameter, and pour the cooked condensed milk over it. When this mixture has thoroughly cooled, arrange the sliced bananas over the milk, cover with the whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate powder. Put in refrigerator. Serve thoroughly chilled.
