~This is a sponsored post on behalf of Mom Bloggers Club for Scholarships 4 Moms. Opinions and stories are my own.~

As a once-upon-a-time young single Mother, I know the importance of education and the role it plays in the support of a family. In an extremely competitive job market, education or specific skill sets generally win out. The problem is that sometimes it is hard to finance an education, especially if you are an only parent.

Scholarships 4 Moms is a program that is funded by Free College Scholarships, LLC. and offers scholarships to help students pay for higher education, the expenses incurred by it (books, supplies, etc.) or even to help pay off student loans. Every month they offer a $10,000 scholarship to one Mom and this month the drawing is being held until December 13th, 2013 at 11:59pm! The incredible thing is that they’ve been doing this since 2005 and I can only imagine how many lives they’ve changed since.

You don’t have to be enrolled in a specific college or university, but you must either be enrolled or planning to enroll within 3 months of entering. If you are interesting in registering for the scholarship in order to go back to school, you can request information about the registration process. For those of you with children currently in higher education, if you are eligible you could also apply the $10,000 grant towards your child’s expenses and/or loans! You can learn more about the process by visiting Scholarships 4 Moms FAQ!

You are never too old to get a higher education, whether that is heading off to full time college, doing night time courses or even going to school online. It is really nice to know that there is a place that is in full support of Moms going back (or furthering) school and doing their best to help make that possible.

Take a moment to find out more information about Scholarships 4 Moms and register for the $10,000 scholarship
