You may have heard me mention Optics Lab before when talking about my husband’s job predicament. Optics Lab provides safe cleansing products for your eyes that is wonderful for relief from allergies, chlorine from pools and all those times you accidentally hit your eyeball when trying to put on mascara. Ow! I never realized how handy it is to have a soothing eye cleanser around the house until the wonderful gift tote arrived with a variety of products!
The OcuFresh Tote came with:
- OcuFresh Eye Wash
- Mini Drops Lubricant Eye Drops
- Eye-Cept Rewetting Drops
- OcuSave Eye Vitamin & Mineral Supplement
Here is a breakdown of what each of them do and also how they come in handy during this time of year.
The OcuFresh Eye Wash safety cleanses out irritates, dirt, chlorinated water and gives relief to burning / itchy eyes. This was the product that my husband had been using to wash out the powder that was floating around at work. He had a hard time seeing as it was irritating his eyes so this came in very handy. Unlike some eye washes, it is very soothing and cool. I like this a lot because I never understood eye washes that seemed to burn my eyes when the point was to calm them down!
The Mini Drops – Lubricant Eye Drops are great at relieving dry eyes and protecting against further irritations. In my opinion, a wonderful after product to OcuFresh Eye Wash because it helps temporarily protect the eyes from further discomfort. These come in little tiny singles so you can take them with you wherever you go!
Eye-Cept Rewetting Drops are for refreshing the eyes if you have contacts and hydrating your lenses. None of us have contacts but my teen really wants them, so he practices sometimes putting the drops in to get used to the feeling of having things in his eyes. He told me that it isn’t uncomfortable and I believe him because he hates getting anything near his eyes.
My favorite by far is the OcuSave Eye Vitamin & Mineral Supplement. This may help prevent the slow degeneration of your eyes and reduces the risk of cataracts. As I have bad eyes (astigmatism / near-sighted), it’s good for me to have something to help strengthen them. OcuSave contains minerals that support ocular nutrition and healthy eye vision. This is more of a proactive product to sustain better eye sight.
I was pretty surprised by all the of the products, mainly because I get nervous putting anything into my eyes and was really thankful afterward when I realized that they were cool and soothing. I love having the OcuFresh Eye Wash on hand because my youngest has very bad allergies and my oldest tends to run around always getting things in his eyes, even though he wears glasses! All of the products have found a welcome spot in my cabinet of necessities and have been used multiple times throughout these past few weeks. I’m sure that your home could use them too! Which is why I’m so happy to say that Optics Lab is sponsoring a giveaway for one of you to win the same gift Tote with $50 in products! So make sure to enter below!
