My family has been hit by the stomach bug this week. Needless to say we have done lots of laying around watching movies. My daughter was sick first so my son laid around with us watching movies. He got sick yesterday and was upset because he wanted something new to watch. Imagine his delight when the UPS man knocked on our door and delivered Prep & Landing and Prep & Landing Naughty vs Nice.
I knew we would like this movie because it is a Disney movie and a Christmas movie two of our favorite types of movies! If you have never seen Prep & Landing here is what they are about:
Prep & Landing
On Christmas Eve, a high-tech team of elves from an elite unit known as ‘Prep & Landing’ ensures homes around the world are prepared for Santa’s visit. But when two hilarious little elves face unexpected challenges and are pushed to their limits, it’ll take a great big effort to save the season. Enjoy a heartwarming holiday classic sure to make everyone’s Christmas list!
Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice
The outrageous yuletide adventures of Christmas elves Lanny and Wayne continue in this totally tinsel adventure that reminds us there’s room for everyone on the ‘nice’ list. Santa’s stealthiest little elves must race to recover classified North Pole technology, which has fallen into the hands of a computer-hacking naughty kid, in an effort to stop Christmas from descending into chaos. Bring the family together for a comical adventure that puts the Ho, Ho, Ho in your Holidays!
These movies were adorable!! The little elves were too cute! I don’t know who liked it more, me or the kids! Both movies were 23 minutes in length so you can watch one or both and not commit most of your day to it. Prep & Landing shows the Elves getting houses ready for Santa to deliver the toys. The elves have to get the roof ready for landing, move the snow, and check over the inside to make sure no creatures are stirring. I loved it when a small child catches the elves in the act, it reminded me of how my toddler would act if she caught an elf in the house.
Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice focused more on the “Naughty” kids on Santa’s list. Equally as cute, the little girl in this movie was on the bad list for how she was acting but you soon learn she was jealous of her new baby brother getting so much attention.
If you love holiday movies like we do, be sure to add this to your holiday DVD/Blu-ray collection. This collection would be great for watching Christmas Eve (since that is when the movies take place) while you are trying to get your little ones to calm down for bed.
