Café Well is the Healthy Social Network. It provides a secure, safe and anonymous environment for Health Care and connects you with other people that share your concerns and interests. The Café Well Community brings you together with others to address all your needs from chronic conditions to everyday challenges.
One amazing thing that Cafe Well offers is Corporate Social Wellness Programs that aim to get members up and moving, walking, running and enjoying their life through Healthy activity.
One Corporate Wellness Program called Race to the Moon is sponsored by HealthAmerica and offers Free Wireless Pedometers that track your steps. The program has participates that have walked over 50 MILLION steps, that is phenomenal! It would be a fantastic way to help boost moral at work by having everyone work together to achieve a Health Goal! I can imagine all kinds of fundraisers! All you need is a support group to sign up and work towards a Health Goal with you. It could be a team from work or a Mom Group of friends or family. In example, if I were to make a group I would have my Mom Team that tests healthy organic products for consumers all work together towards a goal that we could all write about and share with you! It’s a fun way with great incentive towards your health.
More importantly the more I read into Café Well, the more I realized how great it would be just for someone like me that has health issues and will have for the rest of my life. I have concerns and navigating search engines isn’t always the best thing as sometimes colds become rare unknown diseases and I start feeling like I’m on the show House. But having a community where I can locate other people that may actually have issues like mine is comforting. I like this a lot. I think it is great for Corporations and their employees/members and also just for a Mom like myself who has questions. We love our Social Networking Sites! And I am pretty excited that there is a place like Café Well that promotes conversation, easy instruction through our Health Care System and a place to feel comfortable talking about those issues in a safe place.
