WE LOVE BURRITOS AND WE MAKE THE BEST DAMN BURRITO. DO YOU LIKE ‘EM BIG & NATURAL? I love burritos. I could eat burritos all day. Actually, there have been a few days that I have eaten burritos all day, but as a child who grew up on grammas enchiladas… I just love anything with meat, cheese and a tortilla.

Red’s All Natural Burritos are big. That’s about the first thing I thought of when I picked up one to review. Usually when I get burritos from the store they’re a little bigger than the palm of my hand and I have to make two of them just to have any decent meal, but Red’s were Big and I loved that. They’re also made with all natural ingredients rather than whatever had created my previous burritos. My favorite burritos are the ones without a lot of gimmicks, just Bean & Rice. Here are the ingredients for the Bean & Rice burrito!
Ingredients: Flour tortilla (Wheat flour, water, canola oil, salt, baking powder), Brown Rice, Black Beans, Sour Cream (cultured pasteurized light cream, nonfat milk, and enzyme), Corn, Tomato Puree (tomato concentrate [water, tomato paste], citric acid), Green Bell Pepper, Red Onions, Red Bell Pepper, Chili Pepper Powder, Cumin, Salt, Modified Food Starch (corn), Garlic Powder, Cayenne Pepper, White Pepper, Thyme, Allspice. CONTAINS: MILK, SOY, WHEAT
They actually list the ingredients for all their burritos on their website! That’s also where I found their Steak Quesadilla burrito and I of course had to go out and try that one.
What I found really amusing was that my teen who raves about his ability to consume food had a very difficult time eating a whole one at one sitting. That is GREAT. It means that now I don’t have to worry about him eating all of my burritos! Plus, since they are all natural and actually more a meal than just a frozen burrito, I don’t feel guilty making them for dinner for the family.
The best way to cook Red’s All Natural Burritos is in the oven, personally speaking, but you can cook them in the microwave to make it a little faster. Top it off with some chips and salsa or a little guacamole and you have yourself the perfect fiesta!
