A reader wanted to know what the schedule was that I so devotedly must adhere to, so I thought I would post up what my day is like every day. There has been very little deviation from this schedule for the last year. I suppose now you’ll know when the best time to email me is! =) This is also /my/ schedule. My husband has his own and my son, we all just revolve around each other.
7:00a.m. – Wake up Cody for school.
7:10a.m. – Go back to bed.
9:30a.m. – Listen to Riley or Lars mew or snort until I wake up. Make Coffee, take little white pills, take dog out, feed cat, feed dog and check email.
11:30a.m. – Prepare for Judah’s wake up call. (Get a banana, a sippy cup with apple water and make sure Baby First T.V. is ready to roll.)
12:00p.m. – Wake up Judah (who is on a nighttime schedule because he refuses to sleep until Daddy comes home.)
12:45p.m. – Breakfast for Judah (French Toast, Scrambled Eggs when his Eczema isn’t acting up, Cereal, Pancakes, Waffles… I’m like a restaurant.)
1:00/2:00p.m. Just playing or learning shapes, colors, numbers or sifting through hundreds of flash cards for an ice-cream cone card.
2:00p.m. – Wake up Daddy (if he is not already awake) for playtime and take a short break.
2:30p.m. – 3:00p.m. – Lunch time for Judah. (again I am a restaurant whipping up some tasty grilled cheeses, raviolis and pb&j’s with fruits and veggies… viola!)
3:00p.m. – Start Dinner for everyone else. (Friday is pizza day otherwise Billie or I have to come up with some tasty goodness here in a very fast and quick way before he has to go off to work.)
3:30p.m. – Cody comes home from school and is supposed to tell me what is going on or has gone on that day and if he has homework, etc… but generally he just hurries and disappears upstairs on his computer and never comes down until dinner. (Billie also works with Cody on his math here if necessary.)
4:00p.m. – Serve dinner and get Judah a snack, unless he wants to eat dinner with everyone else.
4:45p.m. – Give Billie kisses before he leaves for work.
5:00p.m. – Put Judah down for a nap and thank god for a break. Do the millions of things I’ve put off all day long, help Cody with homework and bang my head against the wall, do online stuff, watch my T.V. shows or okay… sometimes I clean here.
6:30p.m. – Wake up Judah and have that banana and apple water ready on the spot!
7:30p.m. – Dinner for Judah which was whatever dinner was earlier for everyone else and try to teach Cody about how to use a Dishwasher so he can get the dishes done.
8:00/11:30p.m. – Play play play sing Elmo’s song play play play play play. Cody goes to bed at 10:30p.m. Goodnight, Sweetdreams, I love you’s.
11:30p.m. – Daddy comes home, yay! Mommy goes for a break.
12:00a.m. – Judah has his bathtime and then strawberry or melon nighttime snack.
12:30a.m. – Judah goes to bed.
1:00a.m. – I can’t believe he’s not asleep yet…
On days when Billie is off work we go out and do fun things. Sometimes Judah shifts things around for an hour or so and then we do try to be spontaneous sometimes. We go out to the library and run around Walmart which I’m quite thankful just loves to see Judah running around and counting the fruits and veggies. We like to go there cause Mommy likes to see deals and Judah likes to count fruits and veggies with Daddy. Cody in all of this is usually doing homework, playing with his new computer his Father got him, on his X-box on weekends, with his friends or trying to ignore us. We are not fun anymore to my new teenager but anything related to “Family Time” he is required to attend to. I don’t think he likes that very much. =P
So there it is. In 2min I am going to go get Judah like I do every afternoon. I’m a little late on that banana and apple water so I better stop typing. I hope you all have a much more relaxed afternoon. /smiles
P.S. Thank god for my husband who has been utterly amazing in allowing me the time I need to work on this blog stuff and also Smartphones!… otherwise I wouldn’t know what in the world was going on.. I also check email this way all day long so of course I am not forgetting anyone really… okay maybe some people.
