~I received Science is Beautiful: The Human Body Under the Microscope for the purpose of reviewing. Opinions and stories are my own.~
As an adult I have taken on a whole new love of science. There is just something so amazing about it! Science is Beautiful: The Human Body Under the Microscope is a full color book that takes readers on a journey through the human body.
The images are all made possible because of the incredible technology of microscopes. Seeing these truly magnificent images up close and personal are like works of art. Nature can be so beautiful…even at microscopic levels!
You get to view images such as brain cells, bone marrow, red blood cells, melatonin crystals, blood vessels, fat cells and so much more! The book is split up into sections.
There was something new for me to learn on every single page. Even my 6 year old loves browsing this book with me as I tell her what each picture is. This book is just huge at 192 pages!
Each pictures includes a description on the scale of photography as well as the scientific details all in simple terms so that everyone can enjoy learning more. Of course it is just as nice to browse through the stunning photos and take in all in as a visual journey. Science is Beautiful: The Human Body Under the Microscope by Colin Salter is a truly amazing book into the fascinating world of the human body.
