~I received wonderfully supersoft socks from PACT for the purpose of reviewing. Opinions and stories are my own.~
Let’s try something new this St. Patrick’s Day! Instead of finding a piece of clothing in your wardrobe that is the color green, why not slip into something that is sustainably green? This year PACT is starting #SaintPACTricksGreen, a campaign that gets people thinking about what sort of green they’re wearing. I am so excited to share how I’ll be stepping out in PACT “green” next week by wearing purple socks!
PACT prides itself on making clothing that doesn’t just feel good to wear, but that you can feel good in purchasing. Every step of the process, from the family farms where the Non-GMO organic cotton is grown to the eco-friendly packaging that carries each piece is taken into consideration.
I was sent a box of the most comfortable socks that I have ever had wrapped in their most precious cotton: crew socks, knee, ankle and work-socks. Each of the pairs having been created in sweatshop-free factories powered by renewable resources.
In fact, every factory that PACT uses in their supply chain is certified with the highest environmental and social standards in apparel manufacturing; their dyes are non-toxic and even the water used to rinse the fabric goes through a water recycling system! You honestly cannot get any greener product than what PACT offers and all of their compassion for people and the environment shows up in the quality of their product. The designs of each pair are beautiful and varied, some of my personal favorites have butterflies and intricate wildflowers.
The wonderful thing is that if you fall in love with their socks, they also offer tees and underwear for Men, Women, Babies and Tots!
I love what they are doing for the green trend this St. Patrick’s Day. There are so many things being created in bright greens in less than suitable places that will only be worn once and probably discarded. PACT’s way of going green this year with #SaintPACTricksGreen makes a bold statement. Forget about buying into the saturated market and instead proudly showcase your own color green this year!
You can learn more about PACT by visiting their shop and reading about the process, why the families that work for them are so important and what it truly means to “go green” in the apparel industry. And let them know that they’re doing an amazing job by stopping by their Facebook Page and/or @wearPACT!
