Mother’s Day is coming up on May 11th this year and if you are anything like me you might need a little help for gift ideas. One great idea is with the S’well Mother’s Day collection for the special women in everyone’s life. These “mom” inspired prints will debut on their website April 28th.
I for one love a really great water bottle. I use one to go to the gym several times a week and I use one when I am out and about running errands. Of course many times I find myself using a plastic disposable one but I know how horrible that is for the environment so I have been trying to be much better about using a re-usable one. This is one of the few that I can honestly say I really love.
- Drinks Stay Cold for 24 hours, Hot for 12
- BPA & Toxin Free
- Condensation Free
- 17oz and 9oz fits in standard-sized cup holder
- Mouth is wide enough for ice-cubes
- A portion of every sale will be donated back to WaterAid
Of course I really like the look and shape of the bottle. It just looks so nice and sleek like I could take it to a fancy board meeting or where I ended up taking it most…the gym.
It states that it keeps cold drinks cold for 24 hours and I did find that if I stuck water and some ice cubes in it that it would literally stay cold all day. Even when I left it in my car for an entire afternoon in the Florida heat, which was totally not on purpose. I am also a Disney World junkie since we go to the parks almost every weekend with our passes and this is now my go to bottle to take. It is the only thing that can keep my drinks cold in the heat. Even when we buy drinks there the ice can melt in no time and I hate warm soda. Now I transfer my drink to this bottle to keep it cold. Or I just ask one of the concessions for some free water and ice and put that into the bottle. Even better is that it really is condensation free!
They offer several different colors and size combinations to choose from but I personally love the purple super mom one. Maybe I should get it for my own mother for Mother’s Day since she has taken up going to the gym this last year and I always see her with a disposable bottle. This would give her a nice bottle to use and help out the environment at the same time. A re-usable bottle might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of a gift for someone but it really would make a great gift since it looks nice, would get used a lot and is helping out the environment all wrapped up in one little package.
