~This post is made in partnership with iCoffee. I am a coffee addict and this was written while being bewitched by a k-cup. Opinions and stories are my own.~
Coffee to me is like the sunshine, a incredible natural work of art necessary for survival. I’m quite positive that without it I become like Sleeping Beauty, cursed into a dreamlike state until its vanilla cream kiss awakens me. It is a vital part of my morning (and afternoon… and sometimes evening…), but as the only person in the house who drinks it slow brewed, it is kind of silly to have a 16 cup coffee pot all to myself. Add to this the fact that my husband drinks espresso and has to have a whole other machine for himself and my kids start dreaming of hot cocoa the moment October begins. Setting up two machines and standing over a stove waiting for water to boil is a little tedious.
To solve my coffee conundrum, I was given the iCoffee Opus, a masterful single serve brewer with SpinBrew™ Technology otherwise known as my baby. It has a large 75 ounce water reservoir that allows everyone to make whatever it is they want without me having to clean out pots, dump grounds and set up 4+ times a day. Wake up, pop in a cup and in minutes you have 4-12 ounces of pure black gold.
The SpinBrew™ Technology spins, steams and stirs right inside any K-compatible cup. That’s right, you can use K-Cup®, OneCup™, RealCup™ capsule, and all private label cups! It also comes with a bonus iCup Reusable so you can use your personal favorite grounds.
The little iCup Reusable sold my husband who is quite particular about his brand of espresso. It can brew super strong, so it took me a little bit to get used to how much to put into the iCup. However, I saw this as a bonus. Since it brews so well on so little, we save a lot of money on espresso grounds.
It also came with a six pack sampler of K-cups to start with. You can choose how much coffee you want to brew, from 4-12ozs by using the Dial-a-Brew™. If you have a tumbler, no problem! The removable drip tray allows for larger mugs!
The iCoffee Opus also has an Energy Saver Mode, Automatic Shut-off their exclusive SafetyLock™ system. This locks the single-serve brew head during the brewing process to better protect the user.
Of all these amazing things about the single serve brewer, it was the beauty of it that captured me initially. It has a sleek black/chrome design and glows the most beautiful blue when active. My kids like to brew their cocoa in the dark so that the water comes out glowing and steaming like magic.
This is a wonderful single-serve coffee brewer for the family, especially now that fall has reared its head and the days are getting chillier. You can each have your personal favorite steaming cup of joy while spending time together. Because that is the best part of waking up.
