My sister was given the opportunity to share with you the original flavors in her Kukees review this past October. Today I want to share with you something extra special, Kukees New Holiday Flavors!
The first flavor is Cranberry Orange Zest with White Chips. This Kukee really reminds me of the Holidays. The taste of Cranberries lingering mixed with white chocolate in a moist handful of a kukee. The hint of orange zest tricks you because although it is very light on the tongue, the smell pulls at your sense of taste. It’s unique because it melds together all the flavors of Holiday sweets.
The Pumpkin White Chocolate was both of my children’s favorites. If you have a love of pumpkin pie then you are definitely in for a treat! This Kukee brings in the best of the season and adds to it something really special, white chocolate! It’s an extremely smooth and a delicious big mouthful of a bite. They won’t last very long!
The Gingerbread Chocolate is one of my favorites of the four. It gives a spin on the old fashioned gingerbread cookie by mixing deep decadent dark chocolate. I am pretty sure I could survive on dark chocolate, so this Kukee and I went into hiding mode whenever the kids came around!
The last, and most amazing Kukee of all, the Turtle Kukee. I was actually supposed to send my sister one of these, but they didn’t survive. I love Turtles! When we were little girls it was one of the first Holiday sweets my Mom taught us how to make. When I think of old fashioned Holiday magic in the kitchen, I think of Turtles. There wasn’t even any need for them to add or spin anything on this favorite! Outside of it’s very original Kukee appearance, it has the best milk chocolate, caramel and pecans one could dream of. Eating this Kukee was the only moment I have ever been pleased that my son couldn’t eat Tree Nuts. I had it all to myself.
There were a few things that really stood out to me about the way the Kukees are packaged and the care they take in baking them.
- First of all, they are homemade and baked with pure ingredients, which is very impressive! The basic ingredients being: unbleached flour, white and brown sugars, oats, baking powder, baking soda, kosher sea salt, sweet cream butter, eggs, and pure vanilla extract. You can find this information in their FAQ, which also gives information in regards to allergies. They have no preservatives, no hydrogenated oils and they have 3 grams of fiber.
- Secondly, they are packaged with the most care I have ever seen from a ‘cookie’ company. The box they come in has a very unique design to it; ensuring that the Kukees not only stay fresh, but are also easy to remove without stressing any of the other Kukees. You can see in the image below that they have two separate drawers and each one has a plastic sleeve over the top to lock in freshness. It is a beautiful box that gives a very impressive statement in both the company and the gift giver.
- Thirdly, they give a variety of choices in your order. You have the opportunity to choose 4 different ways to package. Whether it is 1 dozen of your favorite, a Half/Half Box, 2 of each Original Flavor or 36 Mini Kukees of each flavor – you get them for the same price. Plus, you can get 40% OFF on their Facebook Page on your next order by signing up!
I can certainly see why they have a devoted following. I haven’t ever tasted anything like their Kukees before, not even close and they are an incomparable goodness.
Whether it is one of their original flavors, or a box of these delightful Holiday flavors, get the sweets Santa really wants to find on the table – Kukees. I think these would make one of the most wonderful gifts you can send to a loved one, family or friend. They’re created and packaged with a lot of love and gifting a box makes it just as sweet as what’s inside.
Purchase: No matter what style of box you want, all Kukees boxes are $49! You can get 40% OFF your next order by signing up on their Facebook Page. That means you can gift a box and get one for yourself for a discounted price, a sweet deal!
I received a product for the purpose of reviewing. Opinions are my own and/or my families and are not influenced by any form of compensation. However, I am generally swept away when chocolate is involved.
