~I received a Tubby Table for review. Opinions and stories are my own.~
Bath time is one of the best parts of the day for my girls and for myself. It is the winding down part of the day meant for quiet and relaxed play before they hopefully go right to sleep. I am always on the lookout for bath toys that entertain while also keeping the mess to a minimum because I really hate giant splashes all over my bathroom floor. Now there is the Tubby Table to add fun to the bathroom with some directed play to the center of the tub.
It was developed by a mom of twins as a stable play surface for active toddlers and preschoolers to use in the middle of the tub thus keeping toys within arms-reach and bath time activity in the middle of the tub. The strong suction cup keeps the Tubby Table in place and secure to the bottom of the tub. The non-slip Tubby Table mat means children won’t slip and slide in the tub. The shape sorter is fun for toddlers and preschoolers alike to learn counting, shapes, and colors. Tubby Table fits inside almost any bathtub meaning almost every growing family can turn to the Tubby Table for bath time fun.
My girls have been known to use it to host tea parties as they really like it as a play table in the bath. With holes in it the water just drains though. I also like to think of it as the kid divider. The added space between them means less fighting, less “she touched me,” less “she splashed me” and overall just less of any kind of contact that leads to bickering. This makes me one happy Mama.
I like that the Tubby Table is good at minimizing the bath time mess and chaos! It is bright and colorful and my girls really seam to like it. My youngest likes to drive cars all over it and my older one prefers setting up elaborate tea parties with her bath toys on it. Any way the kids play with it I do find less water on my bathroom floor and they are entertained so it is a win for us both.
