ZeroWater® filters produce the only filtered water that meets the FDA definition for TDS in purified bottled water. So you get purified-quality water without the plastic bottles or the high cost. ZeroWater® unit, can cost as little as 50 cents per gallon to have purified-quality water.
There are a few things that I am very adamant about in supporting and one of those is being anti-plastic water bottles. More harm is done to our environments, our bodies and our children through plastic water bottles than most of us will ever realize; through the chemicals that make the bottles, the chemicals inside of the bottles and the waste that our population increases every year due to them. These bottles wind up broken down to fine plastic particles that become our beaches, they go into our fish supply and we consume them. We swim and walk along beaches that are beginning to be built of plastic particles from their trash disposed in our oceans. I could go on and on, I’m pretty fanatical about it. I believe in recycling, I believe it’s possible to recycle plastic bottles, it is more about what the bottles are composed of and how that affects all of us. So needless to say! When given the chance to have purified-quality water without the cost (to both finances and health), I was pretty happy.
The ZeroWater 10-Cup filter-pitcher comes with a laboratory grade tester, so you can measure your tap water before and after it’s filtered. I found this to be a wonderful addition to every home! The pitcher’s is easy fill, place in the refrigerator and pour. It takes no time to filter through and you can really tell a difference. I can only image what difference you would see with well water and depending on where you live, the purity of your tap water can vary. Beyond all the health risks, unfiltered tap water often tastes harsh and chemical-like and considering that most bottled water is only treated tap water, the price of bottled water quickly adds up. You can get a better filtered, higher grade water with ZeroWater, than you can purchasing a bottled water and then risking all the chemicals from the the type of plastic it uses as there are no regulations on bottled tap water. ZeroWater’s patented 5-stage water filter system is the only system certified to meet the Food & Drug Administration’s standards for Purified Bottled Water.
We tested our water prior to filtering it through the ZeroWater pitcher and it read 158, I’m pretty sure I read that it was typical, but once it was ran through the filter it was 000. That’s a HUGE difference! You can really taste it as well. We call it “the good water” and it’s in our refrigerator. I also am so thankful for this pitcher because it does save us a lot of time purifying water for my sons humidifier. To keep a humidifier in good condition it generally states to use purified water, so instead of having to resort to plastic water bottles that I am adamantly against and/or boil water and let it cool for hours. This makes the water purified and safe within such a short amount of time with no more work than filling it up involved. I love that.
