The beginning of a new year always is a time for a fresh start and new beginnings, but typically by this time many resolutions made with good intentions have fallen by the wayside. This year, I was busy welcoming our newest addition and honestly my only goal for the new year was to make the transition from one little one to two as easy as possible. Thankfully, several people in my life helped during this adjustment period and a wonderful company, Zooper, helped keep me from getting cabin fever.
From the beginning, Zooper’s mission has been to provide you a stroller that keeps your baby secure, while at the same time fits with your lifestyle and environment and also is fun and easy to use.
Zooper is aware that you are seeking an exceptional value. As an informed consumer, you may find that many standard features with a Zooper stroller are extra with other lines.
No additional outlay required. No second trips to the store to complete the package. Just one high quality, convenient, stylish, and favorably priced stroller known as Zooper.
Zooper sent me a Zooper Tango double stroller in the gorgeous mountain flowers print and I absolutely love it. I wasn’t exactly positive that we needed a double stroller since we typically carry or baby wear our oldest (C) and then our single stroller would work for the baby. Well, I didn’t anticipate that when we got the stroller out, C would want to ride too and not be carried. I also thought a tandem double stroller would have been nice, but C loves to be able to see the baby next to her and “help” me check on the baby. I can’t imagine the fits we would have had to endure if C was behind or in front of the baby. The side by side is perfect and actually it makes sense that C would prefer this as she is use to being able to see the baby when they are traveling side by side in the car.
The first thing I noticed about the stroller is that it wasn’t as bulky as I would have imagined a side by side to be. At only 30 inches wide, I can easily push this stroller through my front door, which is your typical standard size door. Not only is it not bulky, it maneuvers like a dream. The stroller is made from lightweight, durable aluminum making it only 32.2 lbs. That is pretty light for a double stroller and it was so easy to push that you can do it with one hand. It also has four independent wheel suspensions which help ensure a smoother ride for your little ones.
I also loved the fabric and can’t get over how pretty it is. Luckily the material is durable and easy to clean, so it will stay nice through the spills. I was pleased when we “accidentally” tested out whether or not the material was waterproof when C left her water bottle sideways on the foot muff. The water stayed on top of the foot muff and didn’t soak C or the baby underneath. I was able to simply detach the foot muff, pour the water off and it was ready to be used again. I also like that with the foot muff I don’t have to worry about blankets dragging or falling on the ground! (Note: a few hours after taking the photo below, I was welcoming my new daughter into this world…so this walk helped get the contractions going!)
Since my children are different ages, I love that the Zooper Tango accommodates newborns all the way up to children weighing 45 lbs. The stroller includes a car seat fastening belt that allows certain infant car seats to safely be attached to the stroller. If your baby falls asleep in the car seat on the way to the store, it is so nice not to have to disturb them by taking them out of their car seat. The stroller seat can be set to 4 different positions including a fully reclined position perfect for newborns or naps. The faux bassinet type position is not only flat for your newborn to lie in, but the leg rest can fold up and zip ensuring your little one is safely contained. I love that you can unzip the back portion of the amazing canopy to reveal a mesh closure that still keeps your baby enclosed but allows ventilation and more visibility.
Speaking of the canopy, it truly is all purpose. The canopies are separate, so you can adjust them as needed for each child. When my baby was sleeping, I could easily extend out the canopy to keep her undisturbed and yet peek in through the sun-proof portion. Meanwhile, C could have her side completely retracted so she could look around as we strolled.
Although the canopy can completely block out the sun, C is old enough that she wants to be able to see out. That is when the sun shade accessory comes in handy. With the sun shade, C can see all around her and I can feel better knowing that she is also protected from harmful UV rays. Check out the video below to see not only how easy the Zooper Tango is to open, but how easy it is to adjust and attach accessories like the sun shade.
At some point you are also going to have to store the stroller itself. The video below shows the unique yet simple way the stroller folds up. As you can see it folds up fairly flat and it can stand upright on its own so you don’t have to try and lean it on something so it won’t fall over.
- Five-point safety harness
- One step rear link brake
- Removable front armrest
Don’t forget that the accessories (foot muff, sun shade, car seat fastening belt) all are included in the price of the stroller, so you won’t have to buy additional items! With Zooper, you can truly own an “every day” stroller for a reasonable price, especially if you use it every day.
You can purchase the Zooper Tango Double stroller for $499, which includes the awesome accesories, at several online retailers or an in-store retailer near you.
